^{This photo is from earlier in August, I guess I just never got the chance to upload it.

I'm really trying to work with aperture, shutter speed, and ISO as I'm not as knowledgeable about them as I'd like to be.
I entitled this piece as I did because I picture this flower to be just one part of the ecosystem, if that makes sense?

I know, it's not a very original shot, but please let me know what you think!

Beautiful! I love the contrast of the purple against the green! The lighting is good, it really brings out the different shades of green in the leaves.

I do think the angle could be improved; maybe you could take the shot from farther to the left or right so that we can see the side of the flower instead of seeing it head on?

I also think that undoing the blur on the background a bit would be a touch more appealing to the eye, it seems a bit bland in the background.

But other than that, this is a beautiful shot! The flower you picked was perfect, the timing was great! Well done, and keep up the good work!

Awesome! I love the focus on the single flower, it works very well against the all green background. Also, the vibrant thistle flower is stunning, and it contrasts so well against the rest of the piece to make it really stand out!

It's very beautiful, i love the colours, the flowers are wonderful *-* the background is too simple, maybe a small flower far away could make the photo more interesting? But in general it's successful ♥
